Background

As a native Houstonian I attended U of H after graduating from high school.  Like many young students I wasn’t sure where life would take me so I simply took classes in all the subjects that I actually wanted to read about. This lead me to graduating w a degree in economics and psychology along w a minor in political science. I think this was my subconscious preparing me for the various aspects of the real world. Learning the ins and out of a business (economics), learning how to deal with various types of people in a business setting (psychology) and being passionate while staying diplomatic (political science).  It’s been a curvy path through energy, real estate, entrepreneurial and business development.  My role at Brookwoods Group allows me to take those experiences and relate with and understand the unique attributes of each of our clients and candidates on a day to day basis.

Personal Interests

There are several things I hold near and dear to my hear and most of them have 4 legs. I am a volunteer at a shelter right here in the heights and with any spare time I have I spend trying to find our fuzzy friends permanent and loving homes. Aside from my love of animals I absolutely love to travel and scuba dive. I’ve had the opportunity to dive in some of the most amazing places like Thialand, Australia, Jamaica and several other wonderful locations around the world. The one thing I would have to say I am most proud of is my sorority. As one of the 17 National Founding Mothers I’ve watched it grow from 17 to over 1,000 young women coast to coast. It’s an organization I help build from the ground up and still remain an active part of.
