Brookwoods Group is working with an international, integrated energy company in Houston is seeking a professional as their Director, Business Unit Media Relations. This individual will be in a leadership role within the Corporate Communication department, reporting to the Manager, Corporate Communication. This position manages a team of communication professionals in developing and implementing strategic communications across the company’s business units in support of corporate objectives. The professional would be asked to develop and direct approaches to achieving external and internal communications goals. They would be responsible for developing media skills of other team members within the department, along with overseeing and orchestrating media events.

MUST HAVE WITHOUT EXCEPTION:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Relations, PR, or related field
Must have 10+ years’ experience managing major business unit internal and external communication
