Our client is seeking a talented creative, business-minded Marketing Director to develop marketing and branding strategies for 2010 designed to increase company’s dominance in their current market and move into future markets. The ideal marketing professional should possess outstanding leadership skills and have a reputation for inspiring, influencing, mentoring and motivating their team. The ability to diplomatically “manage up” as well as “manage down” is required for success. Reporting to the CEO and founder of the company, the Director of Marketing is also responsible for leading executive level strategy sessions and working with the CEO and other executives to outline the company’s marketing strategy for 2010.
MUST HAVE WITHOUT EXCEPTION:
- Must have 10+ years experience in a marketing management / leadership role
- Must have experience working and reporting directly to executive level management, either the CEO or the CMO in small to midsized company.
- Must demonstrate experience leading executive level strategy sessions
- Must have experience representing the company as a prominent speaker at trade conferences
- Must document goal setting and problem solving experiences… big picture thinker who can execute under pressure
- Must demonstrate extraordinary diplomatic skills and have proven experience in “managing up”.
Preferred but not required:
- direct/indirect experience within the construction industry
- direct/indirect experience marketing software
