Assistant Plant Manager

Brookwoods Group is working with a Commercial Laundry Company to place an Assistant Plant Manager for a direct hire position.

The Assistant Plant Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day functionality of the entire plant.  The Assistant Plant Manager will work closely with the plant manager to implement budgets, policies, and goals in order to ensure the highest productivity in a safe environment.  You will work closely with your team to monitor employee activities, remain proactively engaged in fostering incident free / accident-free workplace.  You will work closely with the manufacturing and material department to review production and operating reports.  You will work closely with engineering and sales to oversee design concepts for process improvements and profitability.

MUST HAVE WITHOUT EXCEPTION:

1. A minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial laundering services
2. Must be prepared to prove your organizational management and people management experience
3. Must have 3+ years' experience work tunnel commercial washers
4. Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
5. Must have the ability to fill in for the plant manager as needed
6. 4-year degree preferred but will accept comparable work experience
