Chief Engineer

Brookwoods Group is working with a Commercial Laundry Company to place a Chief Engineer for a direct hire position.

The Chief Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that our production equipment has no down time, and that preventive maintenance is performed on the production equipment in a timely manner.

 The Chief Engineer will be required to have strong organizational skills and pay attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills.  You will work closely with the Plant Manager and the Assistant Plant Manager to identify sources of problems and defective material.  You will be responsible for developing staff members in the engineering department.  You will be responsible for developing preventative maintenance programs that will control downtime.

MUST HAVE WITHOUT EXCEPTION:

1. Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial laundering services
2. Must have experience designing and enhancing maintenance program to ensure minimal downtime
3. Must be prepared to demonstrate your organizational skills and people management skills
4. Must have 3+ years' experience work tunnel commercial washers
5. Must have experience managing a team
6. Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
7. Degree is preferred or equivalent years of experience in the laundering industry
