Global Logistics Coordinator

Brookwoods Group is searching for a Global Logistics Coordinator for Consumer Products to join a leading technology company located in Northwest Houston, TX. The Global Logistics Coordinator will liaise with global consumer product business units, understand consumer sales and promotion cycles, and stay on top of the coordination of consumer product shipments. You will manage data and build reports to provide top management with recommendations designed to drive and improve product flow from point of origination to retail environments. You should be a problem-solver, detailed oriented, highly organized, and a critical thinker with the ability to make decisions regarding retail cycle management for global business units.

This hybrid position will require some time at the office to receive and record the receipt of supplies and materials from global vendors.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Improve Consumer Product Cycle efficiencies through process, tools and collaboration with regional and global suppliers
• Regularly provide product/service/solution recommendations to directors, vice president and senior vice president
• Responsible for cycle planning based on regional marketing requests
• Participate in projects that involve cross-functional coordination to provide integrated products and cycle management
• Improve processes affecting their workgroup and those interfaced with; e.g., forecast system, obsolesces process with retailers
• Is perceived by the Regional Business Units team to be an expert in the sales and marketing cycle planning and product management (this will come with on-going training to ramp up to this level)

 MANDATORY BASIC REQUIREMENTS

1. Advance Microsoft Excel skills required
2. Must have 5+ years of logistics in a high-tech environment
3. Must have 3+ years of project management
4. Must have the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
5. Must have 3+ years’ experience interacting with all levels in a large complex organization

Preferred but not required:

• Bachelor’s degree
• High tech industry in-store and online retail marketing experience

• This is a full-time position as our employee working under contract at our client’s location
• Compensation includes salary and benefits and is dependent on your experience
