I & E Technician - Watford City and Williston, ND

Brookwoods Group is working with a Houston-based Energy Client to provide two I & E Technicians based in North Dakota (1 in Williston, and 1 in Watford City).

The I&E Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all instruments, control systems and electrical equipment in and around the plant/pipeline. The I&E Technician performs work of high skill in the inspection, calibration, repair, testing, adjustment, installation, and removal of all electronic and electrical plant equipment and systems.

MUST HAVE WITHOUT EXCEPTION:

1. Must have High School diploma or equivalent
2. Must be at least 21 years old for Company motor vehicle insurance and usage
3. Must have clean driving record (Drug testing prior to employment and potential RDTs throughout employment)
4. 3 years’ experience as a Technician in a related industry
5. Accreditation of an Instrument or Electrical Technician program
6. Understands NEC framework (electrical classification) and Piping and Instrument Diagrams, Signal Flow Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, Panel Drawings, One-Line Drawings, Loop Sheets, and Wire Lists

Preferred but not required:

• 5 years of experience as an I&E Technician in a process plant environment
• Accreditation of an Instrument or Electrical Technician program
• Associates degree in instrumentation, controls or electrical technology
• Current valid electrical license for State
