Brookwoods Group is working with a large Chemical Company to fill a long-term Marketing Communication Specialist, contract position. You will have amazing opportunities to work alongside an outstanding team of marketing and communication professionals. You will write and edit content in all channels of communication, e-mail, web, social media, blogs, editorials, tradeshow, and marcom materials.
If writing is your passion and you have experience working in a corporation environment, this is the perfect role to expand your knowledge, talents, and experiences. You will drive and manage an overall copy strategy to ensure there is a consistent voice applied to all forms of communication mediums. You must thrive on multi-tasking, you will never be bored and will be working on multiple projects, shifting gears from one assignment to another is the common theme of this role.
MUST HAVE WITHOUT EXCEPTION:
Must have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, journalism, or similar field.
Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a corporate environment producing effective written internal and external communications for brochures, advertisements, electronic newsletters, websites, etc.;
Must have 2+ years working on corporate events.
Must have experience collecting KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) and summarize in a compelling way.
Must have experience taking complex information and presenting it in a simple, understandable way.
Must be able to work independently.
Working knowledge of:
Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Adobe Acrobat Pro
This is a full-time position as a Brookwoods Group employee working at the client’s location – Houston, Texas Hybrid role.
Compensation is dependent on your experience and includes benefits.
