Brookwoods Group is working with a Large Technology company to place an experienced Event Specialist / Project Manager. This is a contract position working with a large marketing team to design and implement various marketing events. The events are both virtual events and face to face as well as direct mail activity. The virtual events team use best in class platforms to coordinate tactile programs in support of customer acquisition and growth for North America (NA) Enterprise Personal Systems, Commercial Print business and Public Sector.
This position works closely with North America commercial marketing campaign managers, sales, event teams and numerous internal stakeholders, external agencies to plan and execute NA strategic direct mail and direct marketing experiences. The ideal consultant will have experience with events, both virtual and in person, direct mail programs, agency management, budget management including the understanding of a large company with integrated and matrixed business structure among marketing, business units and sales.
You must be able to work independently, prioritize assignments, and work under pressure. Events and Direct marketing is time sensitive, involving frequent concurrent deadlines with dependencies on direct mail activities, agencies, events and campaign managers. Essential for this role is fantastic program management skills using a tool like Smartsheet, B2B Virtual platforms, Sending platforms, SharePoint, and internal program management and collaboration cloud tools (MSTeams).
The Event Specialist will manage all events and direct mail programs, processes, program definition and, materials to be able to communicate the program definition and process and ensure effective and on-time results. Oversees materials in warehouse inventory and reorders items as needed working alongside vendors and procurement.
Manage event and direct mail activities for commercial marketing.
Coordinate direct mail programs that are tightly integrated within marketing campaigns and events.
Ensure the efficient and successful execution of all events from brief to complete execution
Work with concept proposal development, coordination of agencies, and fulfilment
Gather tracking IDs as needed in the event campaign workflow for reporting and claiming purposes
Work with Audience Manager and Campaign Manager to confirm lead management follow-through with Sales, follow up communications.
Assists to gather reporting and insights from Reporting team and working closely with field marketing and operation leaders.
Manage the vendor relationships, quality assurance audits, vendor evaluations, and RFP reviews for all Direct Mail processes.
Lead collaboration with creative, content, data, and legal teams to ensure direct mail is impactful, on brand, targeted and compliant.
Manage the tracker to ensure all events/ projects are on schedule and task are delegated to the assigned owner.
Understand the event process and workflow process via smartsheet
Build creates and replicates smartsheet dashboards, sheets and report building for events and direct mail.
MUST HAVE WITHOUT EXCEPTION:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or similar field
3+ years working with Direct Mail execution tools, such as Sendoso or other sending platforms
Proficient with Microsoft O365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.
3+ years working on Marketing Automation platforms, like HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Eloqua or Marketo
3+ years planning and executing Marketing events, face to face, online, virtual, and direct mail
3+ years of Project Management experience
Preferred but not required:
Experience in technology company
This is a full -time position as our employee working under contract for our client
Hybrid role – if you are local occasional trips to the office if you are out of state minimal travel
