Plant Manager - Large Commercial Laundering facility in Houston, TX

Brookwoods Group is working with a Commercial Laundry Company to place a Plant Manager for a direct hire position.

The Plant Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day functionality of the entire plant.  The Plant Manager must implement budgets, policies, and goals in order to ensure the highest productivity in a safe environment.  You will direct, lead and guide employee activities to meet productivity goals.  You will be responsible to design and create new policies as needed to create a incident-free/accident-free workplace.  If you have implemented departmental policies, goals and objective and were involved in process improvements in a laundering facility you will be a great fit for this role.

You will work closely with the Engineering department to ensure all preventative maintenance is being performed and oversee other departments in the facility to create a culture of continuous improvements.  Our client is ready to talk with you.

MUST HAVE WITHOUT EXCEPTION:

1. Must have a minimum of 7 years' experience in commercial laundering services
2. Must have 5+ years' experience managing staff and multiple departments
3. Must have 3+ years' experience work tunnel commercial washers
4. Must be prepared to demonstrate your experience with process improvements in other facilities
5. Must have strong team building and staff development experience
6. Must have experience with budgets, P & L and conflict resolution
7. Must have experience working with new technology used for new equipment or to enhance equipment
8. Must have experience with creating and managing departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures
9. Degree is preferred but will consider years of experience
