Brookwoods Group is conducting the search for an Proposal Coordinator to work directly for our large construction client in Houston, TX. The job requires someone with strong writing experience, excellent content editing skills and the tenacity to own projects from start to finish. Paying attention to details and the ability to meet deadlines are required skills for this role. This is an on-site role.
MUST HAVE WITHOUT EXCEPTION:
Must have a bachelor's degree in communications, English, marketing or related field, or 5+ years' experience in lieu of degree
Must have at least 3+ years of experience with proposal writing and/or grants.
Must have exceptional writing skills and editing skills and extreme attention to detail – writing samples required.
Must have participated in proposal writing at every stage of the RFP process
Must have desktop publishing experience using InDesign.
Must have working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience working under deadlines while managing various workloads.
Must have a stable job history and be comfortable working and communicating with various personality types and senior levels of the company.
Preferred but not required:
Experience in engineering, architectural, or construction firm
Experience with desktop publishing software and Photoshop
