IT Business Office Manager

Brookwoods Group is working with a Oil Refining Client to place an IT Business Office Manager.  The IT Business Office Manager will support the IT Director in all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the IT Department. This includes, and not limited to, leading the PMO (Project Management Office), IT Finance, IT Procurement and Vendor Management, IT Governance (policies and procedures) and deployment of our enterprise ServiceNow tool. The IT Business Office Manager will also play a heavy role in communicating and presenting to C-level staff and Senior Management Group as a representative of IT.

MUST HAVE WITHOUT EXCEPTION:

  1. Must have bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Change Management or related field.
  2. Must have a minimum of 5 or more years of relevant working experience in IT with project management and finance background.
  3. Must have SAP ECC & SAP/4 moving to HANA experience.
  4. Must have a thorough understanding of standard IT budget, Texas Sales Tax, Amortization, Accrual, and GAAP Accounting practices and cost benefit / cost effectiveness analysis, such as ROI, TCO.
  5. Must have experience in business/industry (beyond IT), managing cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders.
  6. Must demonstrate strong leadership capability, executing as appropriate in the areas of responsibility.
  7. Must have expertise in budget planning, financial management and workforce management.

Preferred but not required:

  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing plant

Details:

  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US without employer assistance.
  • The role is a full-time hybrid role (two to three days per week on site and on site for all important meetings) in Deer Park, Texas, local candidates only, there is NO relocation assistance.
  • Drug screening will be required prior to and potentially RDT during employment.
