Brookwoods Group is working with a Metal Fabrication Company to identify a Quality Engineer.
Quality Engineer Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for manufacturing processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the problem.
- Ensures that products meet the organization's and customers' quality and product integrity requirements.
- Investigates non-conformance and identifies root cause of problems in the production process; recommends and/or implements corrective and/or preventive measures.
- Ensures manufacturing processes comply with federal, state, local, and industry standards and regulations.
- Coordinates the Internal Auditing Program.
MUST HAVE WITHOUT EXCEPTION
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have 5+ years of relevant experience
- Must sheet metal fabrication manufacturing, power generation, and aerospace experience
- Must have experience reviewing engineering drawings
- Must have experience creating and organizing inspection reports and bubble drawings.
- Must have experience with 3rd party audits
- Must be proficient in Excel.
Preferred but not required
- Understanding of the NDT process with regard to FPI & Xray
- Programming & Operating the Romer Arm CMM

- The role is based in Beverly, MA. This is a 5:30am-4pm Mondays - Thursday
- Position is onsite
