Architectural Designer (2) open positions - Sugar Land, Tx

Brookwoods Group is conducting a search for a talented and innovative Architectural Designer to join our dynamic real estate development team. In this role, you will conceptualize and develop architectural designs for residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate projects. You will collaborate with the development, construction, and design teams to produce high-quality architectural plans and visual presentations that reflect the vision and requirements of each project. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in architectural design, proficiency and experience presentation work.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The Architectural Designer will be responsible for managing the design process from concept to completion, ensuring that all architectural plans are accurate, compliant with regulations, and aligned with project goals. This includes maintaining clear communication with project stakeholders, producing high-quality design presentations, and managing all architectural documentation. The designer will ensure all designs focus on innovation, quality, and timely project delivery. Additionally, they will be accountable for ensuring all project presentations and documentation reflect the project's aesthetic and functional requirements.

MUST HAVE WITHOUT EXCEPTION:

  1. Must have a bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Design, or a related field
  2. Must have 1 - 3 years of experience in architectural design, preferably in real estate development or construction
  3. Must be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit for drafting and architectural modeling
  4. Must be familiar with Adobe Illustrator for design presentations and graphic materials
  5. Must have the ability to create both 2D drawings and 3D renderings

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience working with real estate developers or investment firms
  • Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) for visual presentations
