Billing Accountant - Joint Interest

Brookwoods Group is working with an Unconventional U.S. Oil Producer to place a Joint Interest Billing Accountant (JIB).

 The Joint Interest Billing Accountant (JIB) is needed within the JIB/AR group to support the Accounting Department. This person would report to the Accounting Manager.  If you are familiar with corporate accounting, worked with departments supporting joint interest and have the ability to work with many different companies and stakeholders this is a great opportunity.

MUST HAVE WITHOUT EXCEPTION:

1. Must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
2. Must have strong analytical skills
3. Must be an expert Microsoft Excel user
4. Must have strong oral and written communication skills and experience working within many organizations
5. Must be proficient in Microsoft Work, PowerPoint and Outlook

Preferred but not required:

• Oil and gas accounting experience
• Experience working with Enertia, OpenInvoice and EnergyLink systems
• Process Improvement
• Team building skills
