Forensic Analyst and Business Valuation Preparer

Brookwoods Group is seeking a meticulous and experienced Forensic Analyst and Business Valuation Preparer to provide comprehensive support to our testifying financial experts in family law cases.  This role involves assisting in separate property tracking, business valuation and characterization of executive compensation plans.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting or business valuation, with prior experience in family law financial expert work.  You will work directly with a team of experts in a very collaborative work environment.

REMOTE POSITION

MUST HAVE WITHOUT EXCEPTION:

1. Detail-oriented individual with a strong background in finance.
2. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas for financial analysis and data manipulation.
3. Must have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
4. Must have 5+ years of experience in accounting, business valuation, audit, or family law financial expert work.
5. Must have 5+ experience reviewing and analyzing financial documents, including tax returns, financial statement, and investment portfolios.

Preferred but not required:

• Business valuation designation, ASA, ABV, or CVA
• CPA
• 5 years working in family law litigation
