Sr. Operations Accountant - Houston

Brookwoods Group is working with an Unconventional U.S. Oil Producer to place a Sr. Operations Accountant.  

The right individual will have experience working in the oil and gas industry, will have standard corporate accounting knowledge and be detailed, flexible and analytical. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining your accuracy.

MUST HAVE WITHOUT EXCEPTION:

1. Must have 5+ years of accounting experience
2. Must have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
3. Must have strong analytical skills and be able ot create and/or improve accounting processes
4. Must be able to communication effectively with various areas of the organization
5. Must have excellent Microsoft Excel skills and be proficient in Work, PowerPoint and Outlook

Preferred but not required:

• Upstream, midstream, or oil-field services accounting experience
• Experience with Enertia accounting system
• Experience with OpenInvoice or other inventory management program
