SAP System Analyst

Brookwoods Group is working with a Midstream Pipeline Company to place an SAP System Analyst in The Woodlands, TX - Hybrid role

As the SAP System Analyst, you will work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement. This includes identifying inefficiencies in business process design as well as design and implementation of system enhancements. Effective communication will be critical for success, as you engage with several cross-functional teams including but not limited to DT support, DT leadership, Finance, Supply Chain, Maintenance & operations, Internal Controls and Audit, who can be either locally based or off-shore. This position will be a front facing DT resource that will work with business units to identify and document business requirements. This will be accomplished by having a thorough understanding of the business needs and having the ability to translate this information to DT technical/functional documentation.

MUST HAVE WITHOUT EXCEPTION:

  1. Must have Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  2. Must have experience being responsible for coverage over a range of disciplines, including working with the business to identify and document opportunities to be implemented in coordination with our system integrators
  3. Must have experience representing business interests in collaboration with Digital Technology in weekly CAB – Change Advisory Board calls
  4. Must have experience identifying processes and control weaknesses and recommend improvements in areas including program governance, design validation, data management, training, and testing.
  5. Must have experience assisting business users in setting up a new automated testing tool for SAP, Tricentis Tosca
  6. Must have experience as or become an SME on new SAP technology such as Signavio, Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud
  7. Must have experience in active participation in SOX testing of all financially relevant systems, beyond SAP

Details:

  • This is a full-time position as our client's employee
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US without employer assistance
  • This position will work 9 hours Monday through Thursday with 4 hours on Friday and will require Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at The Woodlands office.
  • Travel up to 5%.
  • Drug screening may be required prior and/or during employment
